Most Important Events in the City of Homs "Capital of the Syrian Revolution" on Thursday... 23/05/2013
*Burning of Agricultural Lands in Addition to Intense Shelling of the Majority of Homs' Cities and Suburbs
Besieged Homs continues to be targeted by intense shelling, including but not limited to the regions of Khalidiya, Qudour, Wadi Sayah, Hamidiye, Bab Tadmor and other regions. This shelling has left begind mass destruction and resulted in immense suffering for civilians living under this siege.
In the neighborhood of Waaer, clashes and mortar shelling targeted orchards of the region. The burning of agriculual lands was seen in Ghanto, Talbiseh, Rastan, Dabaa and Dar Al Kabira. This took place amid intense shelling by regime forces with the use of taks, rocket launchers, artillery and Gvozkida.
The town of Houla was targeted with the most intense shelling it has experienced in months, as nearly 15 rockets with immense explovie powers were dropped on the region from Hama Military Airport and neighboring villages.
22 points of bombardment with various types of weapons were documented throughout Homs today:
Al Khalidiya – Al Qusour - Juret Al Shayah – Al Qarabis – Bab de Palmyre – Bab Hood – Bab Turkman – Baba Al Masdoud - Al Warsha – Al Safsafa – Al Hamidiya - Jeb Jandaly – Bani Sibai – Naoura Market - Al Rastan –Al Houla – Al Qussair – Quartier Al Waar – Al Dabaa – Krak des chevaliers – Al Ghanto – Talbisse.
